Our Company has been manufacturing Tuning Forks for over 150 years in Sheffield, England.

In addition to the traditional Tuning Forks for the music trade, we manufacture Tuning Forks under the RaggTM name for Medical and Scientific industries worldwide. A new market has also emerged in recent years for Alternative Healing Therapy.

All our Tuning Forks are of Sheffield manufacture throughout and are made by skilled operatives from special high grade materials. The RaggTM and John Walker® trade marks guarantee accuracy and best quality workmanship.

Medical Tuning Forks

Widely used by general medical practitioners for simple hearing tests and also for more sophisticated testing including vibratory sensation through bone and tissue structures. The RaggTM range includes our renowned Gardiner Brown, Hartmann and Rydel-Seiffer patterns as well as the Light Alloy types.

Musical Tuning Forks

First made by us in 1840, John Walker® Tuning Forks have been used by the music profession for generations. Available in all musical pitches and suitable for every musical instrument including Guitar, Piano, Violin, Orchestra and Early Music Instruments.

Our world renowned blued steel and chrome plated Tuning Forks are made from hardened and tempered steel or high quality alloys and tuned to 20ºC to achieve accurate notes and strong duration.

Scientific Tuning Forks

For Scientific and Educational use. Suitable for use in schools, universities and laboratories.

Supplied for all uses including early learning, scientific experiments, advanced testing and monitoring of sound waves and the theory of sound.

Healing Tuning Forks
